Stunningly located in the heart of the Garfagnana with the most wonderful views of open countryside and mountains, is this beautiful stone cottage and chestnut house which have been converted into three clean, light, airy, spacious and well equipped holiday homes sharing a pool. We rent them all together to give you full privacy and a real sense of freedom. Be together when you wish but have privacy between your groups. Ideal for friends or large families.
The apartments are individually equipped, with personal entrances and personal eating out areas with BBQs. There is a large terrace to all eat together.
This is an ideal spot for groups of couples and families looking for a totally peaceful holiday with amazing views, yet within easy reach of local tourist activities, and rarely in this area within walking distance of 2 restaurants!
Enjoy this amazing location and the beautifully kept properties which are split as follows:
One house split into 2 x 2 bedroom properties sleeping 4 each.
One little metato/barn converted into romantic one bedroom detached house sleeping 2.
All accommodation is fresh, clean and well loved, with traditional chestnut windows, traditional flooring and a character feel. Two have the benefit of beautiful original beamed ceilings and all have a pristine shower room and they are all individually equipped.
All properties have beautiful views and overlook the garden/pool.
The private pool is 10M x 5M and is situated to make the most of the jaw dropping mountain views.

Situated in the heart of the Garfagnana, in the depths of the countryside, with mountain views, but only 1km (by foot or small car) from the closest village and two restaurants, this property offers both total peace, yet is within easy distance of the fully walled, Mediaeval City of Lucca,1 hour; Pisa 90 mins; Florence 1 hr 40 mins and the medieaval town of Barga 20 minutes
The local town of Gallicano is less than a 15 minute drive, and here one can find a train station for easy exploring, shops, bars, restaurants, weekly market and a hypermarket.
The market town of Castelnuovo with its famous Thursday morning market, and various bars and restaurants is only a 20minute drive too.
The real beauty of this area however is the stunning scenery and hundreds of beautiful hilltop villages to explore…..
Perfect for walkers, this property is within walking distance of the most famous Mountain Peak in the area – Pan del Croce.

Summary: Had the best time at Vista Bellissima. Facility is in excellent condition, top equipment, view from the pool is a highlight. Thanks Loriano for the wonderful time we were able to spend here.

Summary: Just an amazing place. Exactly what we expected and hoped for. We did not miss anything. The pictures definitely don't lie and everything perfect. Loriano, the owner, welcomed us as agreed with the agency and made himself understood by using google translate, communication went just fine. He stopped by once a day to check that everything was ok. Such a nice and loving man. We were 2 families of 4 people and we had the whole property to ourselves. We spent a lot of time together by the pool and on the terrace overlooking the beautiful countryside. We could easily be together - and be apart if needed. There are very winding, narrow roads leading up to the property and we planned no unnecessary "road trips". However we did not really want to be anywhere else anyway.

Summary: Very nice view over Gallicano. Garden was cozy and well maintained, lots of tables, chairs, sunshades, etc. 3 kitchen and fridgerators, so there was plenty space for food and drinks. Kitchen’s contained everything (equipment) what we needed. There was also 3 barbecues, although we used just one of them. The house owner were kind, but he doesn’t speak any english. Fortunately one of our party speaked little Italy. One thing which bothered us: there was surveillance camera headed to the pool, but we covered it with hat when we were swimming. Location of the house is pretty high (which we ofcourse knew already), but it’s good that temperature kept comfort level at midsummer (not too hot), at least for skandinavian 🙂.

Summary: Perfect stay for us when we were three families, us and our two kids with their families. We could combine private time and being together. The kids enjoyed the pool very much. The surrounds are just beautyful. Our host was very friendly.

Summary: We rented all three houses for 12 people, which worked very well. The grounds and the area are typically Tuscan, very charming and beautiful. The propertymanager is very helpful and available. The poolarea is particularly nice and the teenagers spent all day there :-) Nearby you’ll find Lucca, winetasting, hiking and many other activities. Highly recommendable.

Summary: We booked all three apartments for a family holiday. They were very clean and well looked after with all the facilities we needed. The pool was great with an amazing view. Loriano was helpful and kind offering us fresh tomatoes from the garden and home made cakes. A brilliant week.

Summary: We spent a week at Agriturismo La Foce late August. We rented out all three of the locations on site. The surrounding views are outstanding. A retreat for anyone wishing a quiet relaxing time away from it all. Nearest supermarket is in Gallicano, a 20 minute drive down the mountain. It was a little difficult to find. It's 800 meters high and only road is narrow and very windy. Blink and you will miss the turn to La Foce. but the magnificent views once there make it worthwhile. Villa Edera and Villa Eden is one house split in two with identtial layout on both floors. Two double bedrooms, one bathroom, double sofa bed in living area which includes kitchen facilities including dishwasher. Villa Edera, the lower floor has very large patio area. Villa Eden has smaller patio area to the front. The metado is located next to the pool and has one double bedroom and one single sofa bed. Very quaint. Our breakfast view in the morning was stunning. The pool was lovely, slightly on the cold side for me but the kids loved it and it was hard to rear them away. Loriano, the owner was on hand on arrival to welcome us and explain the facilities to us. Everything is catered for. A couple bikes and helmrts. There's even bbq. Washing machine & iron is located in laundry room, which serves all three apartments. Everything was very clean. Enough outside table chairs and sun loungers for all. There is room for 2 cars on site with additional parking a few metres away. Thank you to Loriano and his wife for having such a delightful place. We highly recommend and would definitely look at staying again!
